Difficulties with harvest

Increasing resource demands

Growers must often allocate resources, including labor and equipment, to both harvesting and irrigation tasks. Managing irrigation alongside harvesting adds an additional layer of labor, leading to increased labor costs. Hiring and coordinating labor for both tasks can be logistically challenging and financially burdensome for growers.

Crop Sensitivity

Crops may be particularly sensitive to water stress during the harvest season. Insufficient or excessive irrigation can impact crop quality and yield. Finding the right balance can be challenging, especially when dealing with different schedules.

Limited Time Windows

Harvest is time-sensitive, with crops needing to be harvested on a specific schedule. This leaves growers with limited windows for irrigation activities, making it challenging to ensure that crops receive the right amount of water at the optimal times.

I can sleep good knowing that if something goes wrong, the system will shut off or I'll get an alert.
If it's something like a dead head or something that's real bad, the actual equipment will shut off and wont create a bigger mess.

I'll go on vacation and I'll still take my laptop with me.
I've been out of the country and been scheduling before.
